I just left the doctors office and was told once again I had a very short cervix. With my first daughter, I had the same issue but didn’t have the cerclage done bc I was put on vaginal progesterone which helped. My shortest with my daughter was a .48mm. With my son I’m sitting at a .87mm measurement.

My doctor has given me the option this time and I’m not sure what to do. Has anyone had this done and if so, how was your experience?! And how was the outcome?! I was informed of possible preterm labor if they broke my water on accident. I was also told I could get an infection, but that’s very unlikely. So I’ve been told the worst. Can anyone who’s gone through this please let me know how your experience was?! I have till Thursday to decide. Thank you so much.
