Lost our baby😭
Last Tuesday we had our first ultrasound. We were 8 weeks and 5 days. Our baby was measuring exact to date but they didn’t see a heartbeat on our vaginal ultrasound. My whole life came crashing down. I asked to give it a week and to go back and get a second opinion a week later. Today, I went in and again, we saw our baby and there was no heartbeat and the growth stopped at 8 weeks and 5 days. Definitely confirmed a missed miscarriage. I opted for the D&C; because I know I could not go through waiting for it to happen naturally and see and feel everything coming out. My D&C; is scheduled for tomorrow morning. I am so heart broken and nervous for the surgery and to say a final goodbye to my first pregnancy.
I really hope I am able to heal from this heartbreak and able to start trying soon again for our rainbow.

I’m so sorry to hear what you are going threw , I can totally relate to this. Same thing happened to me back in March, when I was pregnant for the first time. When I went to do a ultrasound there was no heartbeat. It was heartbreaking and worse day of my life. I ended up having d&c.; I bleed for a month after that. luckily I got pregnant right after that, I’m almost 13 weeks today and everything is going well so far. I hope you all the best and baby dust
I'm so sorry! I went through this last year following a regular miscarriage a few months before. It is really hard, but you will get through it. Afterward I got a giant sub for lunch because it was something I couldn't eat while pregnant. I recommend you do the same thing and take some time enjoying the things you like until you are ready to try again ❤
