So i posted earlier about what was going on. So this is an update.

My dr came in and said she’s only watching my potassium. I’m sitting in the bed CRYING telling her the contractions are making me sick and I physically cannot breathe. Her excuse? “The fluids are making you have that issue.” My potassium is now a 2.7 and they want it at a 3.5. She has NO CONCERN over my daughters well-being.

I was admitted for low potassium. (2.3), I was having strong contractions every 2-3 minutes but I was not dilating. I’m 2cm, 80% effaced and 37 weeks. My blood pressure has been between 130’s- 169/89

Since being admitted, my legs and hands have swelled severely and they aren’t worried about it. (Pictures below.) they have also said I dont have preeclampsia (so they say.)

At 8:37PM, I took a picture of the monitor.

At 10:05pm, I took a picture of what my legs are now after getting compression socks (I do have underwear on.)

I was told all this swelling is bc of the fluids I’m getting. I have had a total of 7 bags of potassium, 6 bags of IV fluid, 16 potassium pills (not including the next 4 I should be getting soon.)

They won’t let me discharge myself and I’m literally bawling my eyes out writing this because they refuse to listen to me. I can’t change my dr bc it’s clearly too late. 😭
