Discouraged & TTC

Had a miscarriage at 8 weeks back in March 2014. Only one period since (gyne says it's normal and I had 0 hcg  level checked a week prior to a +Lh test/opk two weeks ago) I'm really hoping I'm finally pregnant but all my hpt are negative so far. (please save the "it's too soon to get pregnant" again comments please ) Anyone else had a similar experience? How long did it take for you to conceive after a misscarriage?
