I’ve been told that gender neutral baby showers allow for less clothes and more “useful” gifts. Many parents say that they get so many 0-3 month old clothes that the baby outgrows them before they’re worn.

I’m torn! We found out with our first and then unfortunately lost our second pregnancy to miscarriage. This time I think if the baby is healthy and sticks around it would be so fun not to find out!

Since so many women find out via the blood tests early In the first trimester it almost feels like an ancient concept to wait to find out at the 20 week point! That’s a long enough wait for me, its fun not knowing halfway through and then having the rest of the pregnancy to prepare.

I’ve always said at least with my first I don’t want to know. The nursery will be giraffes no matter what 😂 and green/yellow are actually my two favorite colors anyway! 
My husband on the other hand wants to know. I told him he could, but if he tells his mom or anyone else and I somehow find out... he’s not only gonna have a pissed off wife, but a pissed off pregnant wife 😂😂😂 
We also went to a gender reveal for my best friend and he was like, “this seems like a lot of work/overkill” I told him there’s another reason not to know. Don’t need an extra party to spend money on.

I'll get the best surprise ever at my 20 week anatomy scan when i find out the gender. Surprise is surprise, and then I can plan better.

Yes. I stayed in for two whole months after having my daughter and plan to do the same with this one, so I won't be able to get the clothes baby needs if it's a boy. Plus to me, it's fun to know 🤷 If I were to already have had a boy and girl and be pregnant again, I would consider not finding the gender out early.
