Questions about Dr's appointments

Ge

I've been thinking about my doctor's visits and I've noticed that they're way different from the ones I read about on here, and the ones people close to me have had with their pregnancies. I'm 31 weeks and I've read by this time I was supposed to have gotten a vaccine (I forgot the name) as well as the flu vaccine, and they're supposed to be measuring my stomach and telling me about my baby's health and stuff. Well, my appointments last about 5 minutes (once the doctor enters the room) and he only focuses on asking about my blood sugars cause I'm supposed to keep them on check to make sure I don't need meds for it. I've had three ultrasounds so far and not once have they said anything about my baby other than they were changing my due date for two days later. They only ask me if he's moving and that's it. They've never measured my stomach and I've read/heard that that's something they do at every checkup to monitor my pregnancy. After checking my blood sugars, the doctor leaves and that's it. I'm in this one program and that's how I ended up getting that doctor and don't know if I could change doctor's now being this far along. I've never had a conversation with this doctor about a birth plan or anything like that. It's way different than what I see here. They've never asked if I want my baby to be circumsized or anything either.
