got almost a foot gap between my fiance and I. hahah and considering our daughter is more than half my height ALREADY AT 2 YEARS OLD. I'm betting she'll be taller than me too

If height is the most important thing to you, that's pretty shallow.
I seem to have a habit of dating men that are only a couple inches taller than me. It's not a conscious decision, and they're often self-conscious about it, but height is far from what matters most to me. I would date someone way taller than me, or someone shorter than me.
