xrays and pregnancy?

okay, i had a body survey done today (whole body xrays). Did a preggo test before and couldnt see a line. Did one just now, after the xrays and there is a slight line. Could the xrays hurt a really really early pregnany (if I am)?

I’m sure you’ll be ok but go to the doctors get blood work done to check whether you definitely are pregnant and let the doctor know your worries. They will be the only ones that will 100% know xx

I was in the emergency room and had a blood test done and it was negative so I had an X-ray done and was given strong meds. 3 days later I tested at home and I was pregnant. I went to the er and discussed the X-ray with my ob multiple times and they all said it’s okay especially if you had a cape on you. I was told small X-rays are fun just as long as you didn’t have an mri or anything crazy like that

Yes, X-rays can be harmful to first trimester babies. But there’s no way of determining the possible effects. You’re more than likely fine though.
