getting an abortion because of the gender

I need opinions here because I saw something today that made me go like wtf..

I follow a girl on Instagram and she isn’t pregnant but always talks about having a baby and she has a name for this baby, which is “Abby”

And I saw someone ask her what she would do if she got pregnant and it was a boy.

she said “I would probably get an abortion. I only want one kid and I’d want the girl” and I was kind of like

I don’t want to judge her but..

would anyone else get an abortion if there baby wasn’t the gender they wanted?

I totally understand gender disappointment like that’s a normal thing that happens to many women but... an abortion?? I’m NOT trying to judge this girl but.. does anyone else have opinions on this
