Thank GOD! 🙏🏼 (car repair)

So we have been having car issues and replaced something (for $200) and turned out that wasn’t the problem, the issue was with the transmissions computer that could only be solved at the dealership after we found out it wasn’t that first thing.

Then we find out this issue that can only be solved by the dealership is likely to cost over $1000! After some other non-car issues that had drained our savings that was basically all we have in savings currently, and now that we’re pregnant that freaked us out a little!

We got a call today that the TCM is actually still under warranty and it won’t cost us anything, but we also need to replace the battery and that’ll be $300. Still not a lot of fun to pay that much instead of preparing and saving for the coming baby (I mean, that more than what our maternity photos and crib together will cost!) but it’s a lot better than draining all of our savings in one go. So I guess we’ll prepare for the babe by being sure that we have a well running and functioning vehicle.
