Should I go see a doctor or is this normal?

Ok so I’ve been shaving my vagina for a couple of years now and I’ve been getting razor bumps and ingrown hairs. Now, it’s getting to a point where they are starting to irritate me, they hurt and it is completely unflattering to look at. I’m not sexually active but I do masturbate. I took a pic of my kitty and it looks terrible. From the current inflammation of ingrown hairs, to the scars of the previous ones. Should I go see a doctor or is this normal?

I had the same issue I used witch hazel to clean and then I found out Vaseline’s good for Moisture and irritation ! It helped me I’m just gonna let my hair grow out for a week or 2 then shave .

Before shaving use warm water to open your pores and apply a shaving cream or whatever you use. After shaving use COLD water( to close)not ICY cold just regular cold water in the shower. If it irritates another time. Wash with cold water again. ALWAYS USE A BRAND NEW Razor. Good luck!!!!

normal, just don't shave all the time let it grow out for at least 2-3 weeks then you get a nice and clean shave

don’t shave as often and i had really bad razor bumps and actually used after shave on myself... and it worked wonders! i wouldn’t have bumps after. try it and see if it helps! and if you don’t have aftershave, you can just rub a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol on it to try and if it works maybe pick up some after shave (:
