Period after miscarriage

Hey y’all.. so I just went through a miscarriage 6wks ago and I just got my period back on Monday, was heavy on day 2 but only in the morning half of the day. My periods before I had my son were never normal or on time and when they did they were super heavy and painful. I was diagnosed with PCOS while TTC with him. 11 mo after I had him (was breastfeeding) I got my period back and they started to be regular and on time. That went on for about 4mo (still breastfeeding). I ended getting pregnant, but I didn’t know I was until it was too late (I thought my body was going back to my normal of irregular periods). I was supposed to go in for a yearly exam to get back on fertility meds, but I found out I was pregnant, but my baby was growing and didn’t have a heartbeat and I had miscarried. Now to 6wks later, I just got my period back like I mentioned before, but it’s a lot lighter than I expected and it’s mostly old blood (brown in color).

If you’ve had a miscarriage how was your first period after? I was reading on it and it said it was supposed to be really heavy and may be a little longer than usual. Right now that’s not the case. Thanks for your help.
