The thunder is scaring my baby!

I just had lightning strike a tree in my backyard. It came with some of the loudest thunder I have ever heard in my life, and we get daily thunderstorms where I live (Florida). This was the first time I felt my baby actually jump from a noise! I had to sing to her to calm down her kicks, poor little girl.
