Vaginal Twin birth story!

I had them on my induction date at 38w 3days!

Lost my mucus plug all day yesterday, with mild contractions so I knew labor may be soon. I really did not want to induce because I was induced with my first and it was HELL. Forcing your body to give birth is no fun, and to force two out, I hoped I would just go on my own!!!

1130am this morning I just put my 16 month old down for a nap, I stood up and felt something slimy dripping down, I’m thinking it’s more of my mucus plug, then came more, I knew it was my water! I am group b positive so I called my dr and was told to go in right away to start antibiotics!

I took a shower and packed the rest of my bag and by 1230pm I got to my room and contractions hit like a ton of bricks! I wanted my epidural NOW ! At 130pm I got my epi and the rest was smooth sailing!

At 315 I needed to push, they checked me and I was ready to go- one good hard long push and he was out!

Next was my transverse baby girl, she didn’t turn down like they thought she would after her brother came out.

it took them an hour to turn her and a risk of needing a c section but they finally got her to turn! Labor stalled so was given some meds to get some contractions going, waited a couple minutes then I felt one good contraction coming and took advantage of it because I just wanted her out !!!! Two good hard pushes and she was out at 4:38pm!
