So today is my husband birthday and I was joining him and his team from work out for lunch to celebrate. My husband mentioned that we were expecting although the majority has known since 10 weeks.. well later into the lunch one of the older ladies told my husband “make sure when she gets bigger you don’t follow in her steps!” which I responded with “I’ve only gained 2 lbs, he’s already gain more than that lol” trying to laugh it off but then she responded with “well you’re BARELY pregnant so your time will come”

I’m BARELY pregnant?

How is 18 weeks barely pregnant? I’m almost half way through my pregnancy. Am I only pregnant when I am 35 weeks and about to pop?

Right before this conversation I told her how far along we are and we find gender out next week. So it’s not like she assumed I was newly pregnant.

Idk. It might just be me but I was set off by her comments. I didn’t say anything else to her. I just told my husband I hated her lol.
