It’s hard in the first month getting used to everything and the sleep deprivation!! But once you develop a routine I feel like it’s smooth sailing. Yes there will be rough patches but it gets easier the older they get.

like when the baby is born?  I would say for me it was 7-12 months. being a new born was hard especially when he would cry and I didn't know why even after I fed and changed him,  I felt like a failure, plus good thing was my son usually slept alot so.

For me, being in love with my new baby carried me through the first month or two. By month three, the sleep deprivation and exhaustion really kicked in with both of my boys. That's usually when people would stop offering help, too, and everyone expected me to be able to get into a routine. Honestly though the first year or so is tough and constantly changing!

For me, up to 4 months was the easiest. He’d sleep through the night, breastfeeding was great but then he started teething, waking up, constantly hungry and needing comfort, then starting solids. We’ve only recently got into routine with him (9months)

I’d say 1-3 because the baby isn’t very interactive at that time. It was easier when they start smiling and playing because you get more out of it too.
