Late positive test?

Anyone get a very late positive test when they found out they were pregnant? How late were you

I took clear blue digital one day late and it said “not pregnant”...I was disappointed and just waited for AF to arrive. I had ALL the PMS symptoms so I waited. 4 days later no AF... I thought I was just late. Then driving home from work I got a strong metallic taste in my mouth..... I knew that was one symptom I don’t get with AF. Took a first response and was very pregnant! Clear Blue didn’t detect it even though they say they are accurate up to 4-5 days BEFORE you miss your period. My thoughts are I may have ovulated a couple days later and then implantation happened later causing my hcg levels weren’t strong enough on my first day missed period. So yes, you can get a negative response when you are and it can take a few extra days to get a positive sometimes. Hope this has been a bit helpful. I see on here some women are quite late and are getting BFN which must be frustrating...
