When do you plan on taking your baby out in public after birth?

the way our life is set up she'll likely go out after the first week home don't have the luxury or patience of sitting home. also took my son on an airplane at 3 weeks he was fine. my kids will always be around others so it's important for them to build up their immunities

I took my son out two weeks after birth to a brewery ( for daddy, I wasn’t drinking due to breastfeeding) If the weather is fine and baby is healthy and you don’t have a bunch of strangers touching him/her, it’s not going to hurt baby to be outdoors.

Whenever I feel ready physically/mentally I’ll take the baby out. My husband works away and will not be home for long after the birth so I have no choice but to get out or the rest of us will starve. I gotta get my other child to and from school and all her activities so yeah we will be busy right away. Of course I will be mindful of her surroundings but the rest of my life will need to go on.

I have 3 other kids, most likely right after we leave the hospital we will have to take her out. My husband works nights so I don't want him watching the baby if I'm home on leave, and I still have to shop and get the older girls to school

I'll be taking my son to visit my coworkers probably 2-3 weeks after he's born, once I kind of know what I'm doing with this whole mom thing (first time mom here). 
His first major trip, as long as he hits his due date or before will be when he's around a month old. We're going to an alumni celebration for a group my husband was involved with in college about 3 hours away and staying the weekend. It'll involve a few social gatherings. I fully plan on having his car seat with a cover on it and my boba wrap so I can carry him. I'm not letting everyone and their brother at this thing hold him...I know a few that'll want to be baby hogs.
