Yes, take him in. With my first it was because of a milk protein intolerance. I tried to cut dairy out but he was incredibly sensitive to any kind of dairy ingredient so we ended up having to switch to formula (Nutramigin - super expensive but because it was an allergy insurance covered the cost!). He’s 2 now and has outgrown the allergy😊👍🏻

I just took my daughter to the doctor for this 2 weeks ago. She said LO probably has milk protein intolerance so I need to cut dairy out of my diet. Everything has been normal since giving up dairy.

My little guy has had to this a lot lately I rang for a doctor on call and he came straigt out to me he said usually blood, redcurrant jam in poop means bowel problem but he would also be off good and very sore and tender and temperature etc but because he didn’t have any of the other things he said it was probably a viral infection it went away itself but my doctor said look if it happens again give us a stool sample and we’ll check it out as if could be an virus
