C section of Vaginal with twins?

Question

I am currently 28 weeks with boy girl twins and the closer I am getting to 38 weeks (which is when I will be induced), the more I can’t stop thinking about/worrying about giving birth. I asked for a c section but now I am thinking that I don’t want to have to recover from a major surgery when I just want to be a mommy to two new babies. Any twin moms have any suggestions, thoughts on which is better?

I had a vaginal delivery with my twins and other being sore was a piece of cake. My mother was always super vocal about how much I didn’t want a csection (she has never had one) and I just pretty much told her it wasn’t up to me, it was up to my babies. If they were both head down and one didn’t flip I would give birth naturally or if they weren’t I’d have a csection. If you’re really unsure about it just let your babies decide and then all the worrying will go away. It’s all up to them

I had a c section with my twins 4 days ago, I also had a c section with my first which is why I went repeat (both twins were head down).  The first few days are not pleasant... but that’s when you have the help of the nurses in the hospital. my best advice is to stay on top of your meds and start getting up walking as soon as possible. It hurts to get up but the more you move the easier recovery will be.  
We were discharged yesterday and I am able to walk around, pick up the babies, take a shower, etc with not much pain. I am only taking Tylenol. I still look 6 months pregnant but let’s hope that starts to change 😉
I say do what makes you comfortable and what’s best for the babies! As long as you come away with healthy babies, you’ll get through the recovery.

IMO if it's not medically necessary for a c section I will avoid it like the plague! Vaginal delivery is an easier healing process 😊

I had an emergency c-section at 35weeks with my twin boys due to early labor and twin B not tolerating it.  I had also elected for a c-section from the beginning just to avoid any potential life threatening complications with delivery.  My recovery was very easy in my opinion. I only took narcotic pain medications twice and the rest of the time it was just Motrin.  I made sure I was getting up and walking the halls every few hours which I believe is the reason it went so well.  But go with what you feel is right for you and your babies!

csection cuz what if the second baby flips and you end up having both a vag and c. lol my mom has done both and she says csections are better. i had a csection for my twins and it really isnt as bad as people say. its alittle scary but first days are hard but after a week you should be for the most part fine and youll have pain meds

I had a csection and I had a super fast recovery. My twins came earlier than expected (34w) and one came out exhausted, I don’t know what would have happened if she would have gone through the stress of labour.
I preferred to take all the risks myself and make it a walk in the park for them.

I’ve had two c-sections and the recovery was super easy for both 🤷‍♀️ I think it’s different for everyone and I’ve never had a vaginal birth to compare it to.

if you can avoid a csection do it at all costs. It's a terrible recovery and hard as hell to be a new mom when you can barely walk.
