Addiction is a far cry from just really loving a color....

I wouldn't say "addiction", but some people are obsessed with certain colors. For example, my mom and I are obsessed with pink and green. We are both members of sorority whose colors are pink and green. We are obsessed with buying those colors haha. I love tote bags, luggage tags, duffel bags, decorative items, pens, stationery items, etc. with those colors. I have a nine-month old daughter and about 90% of her wardrobe is pink, green, or a combination. My husband always says "My daughter is gonna think clothes only come in pink and green." Lol. People know I'm obsessed so they buy her those colors as well. Now, I'm obsessed to a certain point. I have many clothing items of that color, but for the most part, my wardrobe consists of all colors lol. No furniture in our home is pink and green either. I have a few pink and green items in my office, but that's about it. I'm not sure how my husband would feel in a house decorated in pink and green lol. He's in a fraternity, but he is not obsessed with his frat colors, but more of with the symbol. We have our plaques and certificates from our organizations in our home, but that's about it when it comes to furniture decoration. So yeah, it is possible to be obsessed with a color, but I wouldn't say "addicted". Some people just love certain things.

I wouldn’t say an addiction, but if given the choice to by everything mint green and pink damn right my whole house and wardrobe is gonna be pink and mint green.

Someone could have OCD and need to have things in a certain colour. It’s a compulsion, I wouldn’t call it an addiction though.
