my hospital I'm delivering at is an hour away (though my husbands driving would probably cut that time in half if needed). there is NOTHING between us and that town. it's all trees and highway. that makes me so nervous. my first was induced so I never went into labor outside of the hospital, didn't even have my water break outside the hospital so I'm super nervous that with my second I won't recognize the symptoms of labor, or we won't get there in time or if we do they'll send us home and then when it does progress it'll be too late and again we won't get there in time....help me. how many ladies have had an hour drive and had no problems or road side births? I just watched a news article in my state of the fire department meeting a couple on the side of the road and baby was born with cord around her neck and now I'm panicking
