The Trump administration has set up a task force to strip more naturalized citizens of their American rights since the Red Scare. The task force will fall under the USCIS. The goal of this task force is to sift through 700,000 cases and find people to denaturalize. This process existed under previous administrations but was rarely used. They open investigations when it comes to discrepancies on their application such as gender and names or prior crimes that they've yet to be taken to trial for and call it fraud. It's been said that the Trump administration is ramping up to deport as many immigrants as possible and target POC, people who are Muslim, and it's a reality now that any person who immigrated is up for deportation. It's also been said that the Trump administration has a lack of regard for rules, policies and procedures.
