I have been in my new job, which is commercial real estate, for only 5 months, after taking a long hiatus to be a SAHM. I'm currently almost 11weeks along. This is baby #4, and I am definitely having a hard time hiding this bump! My problem is that, while my boss is a woman, (super nice and old enough to be my mother), this is sort of a man's world. Women are merely looked at as either book smart, or hot, and that's how we got this role. It is definitely not a fair assumption, but again, this industry is heavily run by old school men.

My concern is that... with a new one, we will surely need a new vehicle ASAP... my 4door sedan isn't going to cut it any longer! And well, I haven't made a dime yet. I NEED TO MAKE MONEY! Yet, if I tell my boss... I'm afraid that even if I assure her I can handle the job, and I'm hungry to work, she will still try to lessen my work load (out sheer concern and good intentions bc she is like a mother in her actions) I worked the corporate world years ago with my first 2, and I understand the demands of being a working mother.

Any advice?? Clearly I can't hide it forever, but I was hoping to make it to 4months... but I'm already looking like I'm 5!
