I have been contracting all day since 4am yesterday morning.

It got to the point I had to make an appointment with my doctor and he did an internal - wasn’t dilated, wasn’t effaced but was at a -1 station.

Doctor sent me home told me to call when it was 5-1-1 so I did around 11pm and ended up going to L&D; with this consistent contractions.

Triage nurse checks me - still no change but also no change in contractions so they start an IV thinking I might be dehydrated...wasn’t at all. Was still contracting consistently and with pain.

She checked me one last night and still no change.

So what does this mean?? I’m so confused.

I’m a little over 36 weeks.

Has anyone experienced this??
