Do you have a good relationship with your in-laws

I get along with my father in law great, but when it comes to my mother in law that is a whole different story.

I am closer to my in laws than my own family.

I get along with mine. But my husband thinks I don't like his mom. I do but I don't like how she thinks she still has control over him. My husband is the child that if they call and need something he will. Which is fine but if we have plans and she calls and tells him what time to be somewhere without asking I have a problem. She also says things like "we don't have to worry about you cleaning your plate bc we know you will" and "if I don't know what you're talking about (to her husband)  Jessica definitely doesn't know". I'm from the city and they're country and I think sometime she holds it against me? Well thinks I'm stupid bc of where I'm from. She asked me once if I knew what a pinecone was...  It's just small things. But in the end I do love them but I'm not going to let her walk over me or my husband.

I don't have a mom so I wanted to have a good relationship with MIL but she's a nightmare.. not only does she treat me like shit, she plays favoritism with her 3 sons.. Never does/says anything nice to my poor husband. His dad is out the picture... My whole family is out of the picture lol.. So it's just me and him, and we couldn't be any happier ❤️

I don't have "in-laws" I say that because I'm not married but still. SO's parents were much older than mine, they've both passed away. But I guess that's ok. I don't think I'd like his mother at all from what I've heard.

MIL & FIL both died before i met my husband. SIL i wish i didnt know her.

MIL I hate, FIL I love the sibling in laws I don't have a problem with but I'm also not close with.

They both love me and I love them, my mother in law drives me crazy when she tries to tell me how to raise my daughter (cause she sleeps in the bed with me she's only 10 months old and is exclusively breastfed) but besides that we all get along
