Should I have another baby?

My husband and I have been wanting to have another child. I have been putting it off because I'm afraid our financial situation isn't too great at the moment. We are on a one income base only. Our daughter which we have will be 3 and she is potty trained 😊(happy dance) so our situation wouldn't change much really since we were on one income since she turned 1 and a half. I'm afraid if we don't just go for it now, we won't really want to expand the family when she is much older. So here is my question. Should I just go for it and have another baby?

I don't want to sound condescending or elitist, but since you asked... I think you should only have as many children as you can independently provide for. It's one thing to accidentally get pregnant and need government assistance, but I don't think people should purposely TTC if they don't have the income for another. Will I judge anyone for being on government assistance? No. Do I think you should *plan* to use government assistance to accomodate another child? No. Is it any of my business? Only if you ask. 😉

I say go for it! It maybe tight but if you want another baby....
Don't wait till your financially stable cuz that normally never happens! No I'm not saying live off wealth fare I'm saying cut where you can and save the money you use to spend on diapers every month till pregnant and baby born for baby expenses

I'm in the exact same situation girl!my son would be 3 by the time another baby is born. We have 1 income and things are tight. But we've also been a lot worse off and we can always over come. As long as we have money to have a roof over our heads and food in our tummy, we can afford another baby and we are trying to have one. Don't let money be the reason not to have a baby. And don't listen to people to tell you to wait! If you're ready emotionally I think you should follow your heart! We have saved literally everything from our son so if we have another we won't have to buy anything expensive just diapers and clothes if it's a girl! Good luck

We are low income ttc number two. Id rather struggle for a bit then having to quit a good paying job and dropping an income once more settled. That being said where i live mat leave is a year and requires quiting a job and its nearly impossible to find work afterwards
