You don’t have to be skinny to get a belly button piercing, but I do think it looks better on those who have a slimmer figure 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a classmate tell me that she thinks it is easier to get a belly piercing with a little fat on your belly versus super taut abs. She said she was VERY fit (and she still liked very fit at the time she told me this) and had a 4 pack when she got hers and it was hard for them to clamp her belly button cuz there wasn't much skin to get a hold of it and it actually ripped. Of course this is all anecdotal but she had to go back to get her piercing redone
