Not sure if this lifestyle change is safe to make now..
This is my first pregnancy. As soon as I found out two weeks ago, I began taking megafood baby and me prenatals, walking, and doing yoga everyday.
I also changed my diet. I didn’t eat horribly before, but I felt I could make changes :
I buy only organic chicken, dairy, fruits, and vegetables.
I would say 80% of my diet everyday consists of fruits and vegetables.
I eat a lot of thoroughly cooked salmon.
I incorporate flax seeds, hemp seeds, and sunflower seeds in almost every meal.
I only drink water (and one small espresso every morning).
I eat a lot of dates for my sugar cravings.
I also (mostly) cut out all snacking at night.
In such a short amount of time I noticed my bloating went down and I toned a bit in some areas. I have more energy everyday.
I feel like if I continue this I may lose fat during my pregnancy. I wasn’t “fat” before but I didn’t have a slightly high BMI of 25.5. Before I ate a lot of fruits and vegetables and never ate fast food BUT I did eat a lot of bread, chocolate, popcorn, cheese, wine, etc.
Are all of the changes I’m making safe for my baby?
