Do you get along with your in laws?

I'm just curious how you get along with your in laws. I fluctuate from I bite my tongue to keep the peace, to hell to the f-IMF NO!

My boyfriends mom is really rude and judgmental toward her children and I just don't know how to accept that. I get along pretty well with his dad because he's easy going and we have things in common. And his sister and I get along great. It's just his mom...

I have a hard time getting along with mine their just not like my family like loving and that so its hard to talk to them and stuff

i love my bfs mum, her partner and his brothers. I find his dad a little hard to get along with as when we first got together, his dad would get drunk and pick fights with my bf. it was really hard to have to deal with his hurt and him being upset. they have a great relationship now and I bite my tongue to keep the peace, I still can't let it go!

I can't honestly answer this question because I have never met my husbands mom and dad. He is from a country called Tajikistan which is where his mom and dad still live. We have been married almost a year and half now I would love to finally meet them but it's hard either we have to fly over there or find away to get them here which isn't easy or cheap. Also a big problem is they don't speak much English so I am trying to learn Russian (which is very hard) so I will be able to actually talk to them and maybe be able to start talking on the phone with them.  If I had to go off what my hubby has told me I think I might have problems with his mom but his dad likes me from what he has heard about me. Hopefully I will get to meet them someday.
