Before I got pregnant I had been dancing like all my life. Ballet, ballroom, contemporary, modern, hip hop, west African I mean I was an actual dancer and I love it. So I had always been very slim. All throughout my pregnancy I danced and in my mind after the baby my body will go back to normal and everything will be great!!! I think not. Around month 7 I found one just one single lonely stretch mark so I wasn't worried I kept using coconut oil everyday like normal by month 8 two more joined the party... still wasn't worried I was like oh it can just be covered by stage makeup, the same make-up they use to cover someone's tattoo. But by 41wks this is what I looked like

I was very depressed and didn't even want to be seen with my stomach out. So after I had the baby I felt like it got worse.

I haven't worked out and it's killing me. I'm trying to be good and wait my 6 weeks especially because I had a c-section but man oh man. It took me a long time to look at myself in the mirror without crying. I'm getting better but in the world of theater and dance that I come from, self image is everything and my belly look like Freddie came to visit me in my dreams... ugh I will get there eventually when I can not look at myself in disgust when I can look at myself and feel beautiful again. But anyway here is the love of my life, my pride and joy, the reason why I get out the bed in the morning
