Am I being unrealistic?

My boyfriend and I are having a child. We are on and off a good bit but he rarely does anything for my children and I as it is. My question is, I owe about $893 for my csection as a deposit. Well i carry insurance on myself and its my insurance that cover this pregnancy and I pay all the doctor visits..He wants me to pay half! Now this is where I might be being unrealistic.. I have two small children now, who live with me so money is tight and he pays child support on 2 of his but thats no where near as much as I pay. He made a comment tonight, well can you not pay half like you always say you can't?!? I can't say anything to him bc he gets butt hurt. But please ladies, tell me your honest opinions
