Right unless you’re irish or Scottish living in an area that uses these names just don’t. My first name causes me headaches wherever i go. i live in the south of England where no idiot spells my name right. I have to show them my drivers license all the time and the phone can be worse. I’m Scottish my dad got drunk on the way to register me and it’s stuck. Unique names are lovely but just remember you will be shouting it at least 50 times a day when they’re a toddler and theyll need to go to school and job interviews later on in life! Rant over 😂🙈

I don’t think you should alter a cultural name just so it can be “ easier” especially if it’s your culture...yes your child will probably have to correct people but teach her to be proud of her name and who she is...and plus people can learn new things....it’s a beautiful name with a beautiful meaning so keep it!!

which is more important? the spelling or the meaning? if it's the meaning you want behind the name, then perhaps, spell it Keeva. Not to say that people shouldn't learn new ways of saying her name and that yall have to make it "comfortable" for the world to say, but Caoimhe may prove a hassle for the rest of her life depending on where you live/she will spend her life.
