Wanting to guide my husband to Christanity

Sorry if this is a silly question, but it's something that's been on my mind through my entire relationship with my partner. So my husband isn't religious, he's aware that there are so many religions and he is afraid to commit to one in fear of choosing the wrong one. As a Christian, I always worry about what will happen to him after death since he doesn't necessarily believe in God. I know tomorrow isn't promised so I almost live in fear of something happening to him and not making it to heaven. I want to help guide him to Christianity and believe there's hope, he used to go to church as a kid. What's the best way to go about this without it being "forced" or being too much for him at first? I don't want to scare him further away from it and lose any chance of him becoming Christian again.
