Who will be out first? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

A friend of mine at work is due 10/10 with her little boy and Iโ€™m due 10/7 with my little girl. We are both MISERABLE. ๐Ÿ˜‚ We have desk jobs so luckily we donโ€™t have to be on our feet but we do talk on the phones all day everyday and customers are trying our patience, not to mention the pain of sitting for long stretches. She has been out all this week because she was apparently having Braxton-Hicks, not admitted or anything, just taking it easy this week I guess. Itโ€™s like a funny unspoken race of โ€œwho will be out of work firstโ€ lol. With our maternity leave program, going out early for complications doesnโ€™t effect our 18 weeks of leave so our motto is the sooner the better! Iโ€™m high risk for a laundry list of issues but none YET that require me to take it easy and start a modified bedrest (although with fluid dropping 15 cm in two weeks and BPPs twice a week, it could happen any day). Itโ€™s just funny being so close in due date, although I have to deliver before 37 weeks due to Cholestasis, and getting to bond over how miserable we are. Iโ€™ve really missed her this last week so I hope I go out first so I donโ€™t have to be alone for too long! ๐Ÿ˜‚

At most I have 4/5 more weeks to go and it feels like eternity. I know she feels my pain. ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜‚
