Early induction
At the beginning of my pregnancy I had high blood pressure in the doctor's office. They had me do a 24 hour urine screen to make sure everything was ok, and I bought a blood pressure machine to test at home. All my tests at home have come back normal, so I think I was just experiencing white coat syndrome. I've gotten comfortable with my doctor visits, and last blood pressure reading came up 106/69 in the office. I'm 29 weeks and 2 days, and they are still talking about inducing me at 38 weeks, even though everything has been fine. Do you ladies think this is something I can tell them that I don't really want to do, if it isn't medically necessary, or am I going to have to either go through with it, or find a new OB. It seems so late in the game to switch, and I've already paid everything up front. Any advice is welcome.
