I had my first ultrasound today at 9 weeks. They ended up doing a transvaginal ultrasound after the fetus appeared smaller than 9 weeks. There was no heartbeat. The doctor explained the fetus seems to have stopped growing at 6 weeks. They took blood and the doctor said depending on the blood work they may do another ultrasound in a week. If there is still no growth then he explained what to expect with a miscarriage. I'm in shock, devastated and in disbelief. 😭😭😭
