Jaundice preemie at home?

I had my babygirl at 35 weeks +3 and she got jaundice pretty bad too days later and has light therapy. we took the lights away after two days when it dropped and it continued to go down so we got discharged. shes breastfeeding and pooping and peeing but I still feel like she has a tint to her skin. does that take a while to go away or should I be worried that it spiked again?
DOD this happen to anyone else?

Sitting baby by a window with the sun shining on them helps is what my doctor told me if my son ever developed it since I was induced at 37 weeks but he didn’t end up getting it.

does look yellow yes. best way to tell is press a glass to the skin n see skin color. day light will help sit outside with baby in pram be sure to avoid hot hot sun obviously be careful. n also increase feeds too try get more in as it can help

Once they are treated with lights, they can seem yellow for a while. And long as she doesn't seem like the yellow is getting worse than she should be ok. But always double check with her Ped :)

My son wasn’t preemie but he was jaundice. His pediatrician had me give him “d drops” vitamin d supplement once a day. She also said I could supplement with formula which has vitamin d added unlike breastmilk. I chose the d drops instead of formula and it worked. I’ve heard if your breastfeeding you can also take a vitamin d supplement and get it to baby that way. I would ask your doctor before doing anything though especially with a preemie. Good luck!
