Birth defects!? :(

Question

I just read that Clomid can cause a wide range of birth defects!! I'm so nervous, I am supposed to be starting my first round on Saturday but I don't wanna do anything dangerous for my baby. Does anyone know about this? Thoughts or advice?

I never heard this and I got pregnant off of my third round. I'm going to assume that if there was a higher chance, a All drs would have to tell you that

My sister used clomid to conceive three of four children and all are healthy teenagers now!

Studies I saw were when women continued to take clomid after already conceiving and the numbers were insignicantly higher than births without clomid. I was worried about that as well.

My doc said the risk is not significant compared to women who don't take clomid.
