Honeymoon stage should be forever but the fantasy fairytale should last no more than 6 months lol IMO

the average is 6 months to a year. honeymoon phase is when you're so deeply infatuated that you don't actually see your partner as a whole, just their good traits. I'm still deeply and madly in love with my husband, but it's different than being still in the honeymoon phase because now I know all his annoying habits but still love him immensely

I’ve been with my man for almost 8 years. And I love him even MORE than I did when we met. I love him because of how hard he works, how he already is as a father, how he always has love and patience for me. I still get butterflies when we kiss. I still look forward to him coming home. When he’s not here I physically ache for him. The portion of our relationship where I saw him through rose colored glasses ended about 1 year in. Since then I’ve fallen in love with him for who he really is.

I'll be celebrating my 2nd anniversary at the eom and we're very much still in the honeymoon stage like it was today that we got married. 😊
