Did losing weight help you get pregnant?

Currently, I weight 267 and my heaviest weight was 273. I went to the doctor for an annual check up and he said they losing would help boost my fertility. Has anyone lost weight and had an easier time falling pregnant?

I was 280 when I started, and I got pregnant when I hit 220. I like to think it was my healthier lifestyle, not so much the weight! Excercise increases blood flow, which will help build a nice, thick uterine lining for baby to implant, and following a low carb diet will improve egg quality, which means healthier embryos that have a better chance of sticking around and an easier conception. I focused on nurishing my body with the foods I ate and building muscle and endurance at the gym, and the weight slowly came off.
