Miscarriage - how do you know?

Hey everyone, 
So how do you know if you are having a miscarriage or not?  
I’m only 7 weeks and I don’t even have an OB doctor appointment made yet but I’ve been having a little bleeding and some cramps.  I know some spotting is ok but it seems to be a little more than just spotting... just wondering you anyone knows.

Good news - had a stat ultrasound and baby is fine! They think it was perhaps implementation bleeding or just a bruise or something.  I feel so relieved!  Now if I can only make it to the end with no issues!

go the the ER. That is where an OB office will send you anyways.

I would call the doctor (you will probably get a call nurse) and explain what is happening. They will tell you what to do. They may have you come in for a series of blood tests to see if your HCG levels are rising or falling. I would do that before going to the ER.

You can go to the hospital if you’ve had some bleeding. I had no cramps or bleeding with mine.
