Period like cramping?

34+4 and I’m laying down for bed and I’ve got really uncomfortable period like cramping only in my lower stomach.. 
Is that normal? 
Feels completely different from the Braxton Hicks I’ve been feeling for the past few weeks.

I just started getting these I’m officially 34 weeks today . My doctor told me to just keep drinking water and if it goes away that means I’m dehydrated so I did that and it helped. Especially with the extremely hot weather lately we need to increase our water intake

My midwife said it is normal. I’m 35/5 and have been having it off and on pretty consistently over the past couple weeks. It legit feels like my period is going to start and almost hurts.
