in the US you only need an outfit for going home. They provide diapers, wipes, outfits for the stay, and formula if needed. Bringing anything else is just unnecessary

I take something for him to wear while we're there while not doing skin to skin, outfit to wear home. I use a baby carrier in the hospital (so I can walk the floor), and some swaddling blankets. My hospital provides a little hat, diapers, and formula if needed.

Depends what your hospital provides. Usually they provide clothing & blankets etc for your stay, so you just need an outfit for baby to come home in as well as maybe a blanket/wrap for the trip home. I think I’ll bring my pump and feeding pillow in case i need them.

if u live in the uk. u know need everything from baby wash, blankets, feed nappies pads the lot...they provide nothing. only your medication and babies and a bed

I was told to bring a going home outfit for baby, formula and bottles if I’m not breastfeeding, pacifier if I want baby to use one from the very beginning, and of course the car seat.
