Baby measuring small..

I went to the hospital today for my 37 week check up and they said my baby is only measuring 33 weeks, has anyone else had this happen and baby has been ok? I have to go back to see the doctor and have a scan done but I just don't want to get myself worked up with worry untill I see the doctor. Baby is moving and has a healthy heart beat just wondering why he is so small.
