Do you feel a parent who signed over rights to another family member during hard times (drug addiction/teen pregnancy ETC) deserves custody of their child once they get everything in order? Ex: addicted mother signs over rights to child's grandmother, and once she is clean and stable she wants custody. Do you think there should be a legality that allows the parent to obtain custody right away or if the family member is attached to the child now and doesn't want to give up custody should they go to court?
