I am 11 weeks pregnant, is it safe to use facial hair removal cream to remove upper lip hair ?

I'm not very sure but I do know things like that have a lot of chemicals in it so you may not be able to breathe in the fumes of it. But someone might know for sure if it's safe or not. I know dying hair is okay.
