Hmm 🤔
Does anyone else find themselves struggling more on a particular day?
I’m almost 33 weeks and last Thursday I had really painful contractions that were timeable for about 7 hours but I didn’t go to triage because I had a maternal fetal appointment that next morning and they eventually went away an hour or two before we went in. I had water and laid on my left side but they kept going all night before they stopped suddenly and we went to our appointment shortly after. I also randomly threw up my dinner before they started and had the chills while they happened; it felt really strange. My OB wasn’t concerned (which isn’t saying much because they are pretty neglectful in general- enough for me to be switching doctors this late in the game to one that takes me a bit more seriously) so I’ve just been going about my week.
I’ll have period like cramps way in my lower back that wrap around to my lower pelvic area and pressure pretty much regularly during the week, more so at night but happens during the day occasionally. I’m a FTM and just assuming it’s normal. I spent the first 20 weeks dehydrated from HG so I’m fairly certain I’m not dehydrated now that I can chug water constantly.
But, exactly a week later on Thursday again, I’m starting to feel awful and nauseous again with the realllllly painful contractions rather than just the general cramping. They’re not regular enough to time yet like they were last week but, it’s just so weird that I’m experiencing this exactly a week later. If they get as close together as they were last week and last as long I’ll head to triage this time; I have a MFM appointment tomorrow but it’s just a BPP so I won’t get to ask the doctor if I should be concerned. Has anyone else experienced consistency like this? Again, I’m a FTM so I don’t know if Thursdays are just cursed as a coincidence or if it’s normal for there to be a pattern? 😂 It’s not anything that I might have eaten messing my tummy up and baby has been pretty still so she’s not creating any pain with kicks and such. Just weird and I thought I’d see if anyone has experienced something similar.
