Am I safe to tell?

I am 12 weeks 5 days and saw a strong heart beat on Monday. I want to tell family and friends now but I have seen a lot of women on here mc at 13 and 14 weeks. It worries me. Do you think I'm safe to announce it?

Seeing as though you could have a miscarriage at any point in your pregnancy I would say yes. I had to tell as soon as I found out due to my job, even if I didn't I would still tell early. IF I would of had a miscarriage I would want the support of my family and friends to help me through it.

Anytime is safe to announce it when you for sure know but I'm just being real here & I didn't fully announce my pregnancy until I was 5 months pregnant because if I miscarried, nobody would've even known I was pregnant & I wouldn't have to deal with all of them saying how bad they feel & stuff... But that's just what I did... You can do you.

If you're comfortable telling people go right ahead. You're close to being out of the 1st trimester anyway, if that's what you're worried about :)

There's never any such thing as "safe" when it comes to growing another little human. Just tell the ones you love when you feel comfortable doing it. It's different for every woman.

We told close family at 5 weeks and general public at 22 weeks.
