Spotting 21 weeks

I been spottinf fir few days now,, no blood , no cramps spotting is light pinkish/brownish discharge (bad odor) and is on and off,, my dr say is very normal,, as long is not bright red or pain,, she check my cervix to make sure is close, and did a culture to check if there is an infeccion that can be the couse of the spotting,, but i didnt hear from the dr friday and i am concern about the spotting and bad odor,, ;(
